I have a background in Economics and Data. I enjoy understanding problems, tinkering about, and eventually fixing them. I believe in the transformative power of education, and have worked with startups in the space as an educator, consultant and entrepreneur.
GrowthCat LLP, Hyderabad – (June 2018 - Present)
At GrowthCat we provide data-driven solutions to communication and branding problems. I manage finances, strategy and technology; and have dabbled in a fair bit of creative strategy and business development. You can check out our offering here and read more about my role here.
Law School 101, Hyderabad – (September 2015 - October 2020)
Law School 101 is one of India's go-to portals for preliminary legal education. We aim at democratizing and improving access to legal education in India. I spent about 5 years overseeing change transformation, strategy, management, finance and — my favorite of all — teaching! You can check out our offering here and read more about my role here.
School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, Class of 2019
I took a lot of courses in statistics and finance; however the school's tradition of offering mandatory courses in heterodox thought opened up my horizons and the way to think about issues of the political-economy, class and gender.
Some of my favorite courses were in the fields of Probability Theory, Financial Econometrics and Time Series Analysis. But by the time I enrolled myself at the University of Hyderabad, I was pretty engaged in my work with Law School 101 and had begun working on — what would soon become — the project that launched GrowthCat. I was getting, often times soul-wrenching but eye-opening, lessons in project management, sales and the hustle of nurturing a new business outside the classroom.
